The Evening
Sound + Film
Host and DJ November Rose moves through bebop jazz, sexy jazz-forward house, synthwave, and heist-inspired selections made for lingering in good company and bad ideas. Two heist films will be projected quietly in the background to set the scene.
Come Solo or in Tandem
Come with someone or on your own. Settle in, listen, and join a conversation when you feel like it. We'll make introductions throughout the evening, and guests are welcome to invite others into their circle.
Bring your curiosity. Make an introduction. Leave room for someone new.
At the Door
Every guest receives a Permission Slip and a playful designation for the evening. Your role is a wink, not homework: nothing to prepare, no character to play. Getaway driver or collector? You'll find out at the door.
Mischievous All-Black Attire
All black is the brief; the details are yours. No costume required. A favorite black outfit is enough. Or make an entrance: a tailored suit and black shades, a little black dress and patent-leather pumps.
Food + Drink
Themed cocktails, a curated wine selection, a non-alcoholic option, and small bites will be available for purchase.
Motion Pictures is an evening for listening, observing, and exchanging: good music, good company, and of course, good mischief.
